How Do I Add A Machine To Scanner On Dell 2335dn

Install from the Apps Share

Select Network Installation and click Next
Select Local Installation and click Next
Select MFP2335dn / IP : X.X.X.X and click Next,
Click Next
Select Custom Installation
Select ONLY Scan Manager Utility and click Next
Click Finish

Click Start à All Programs à Dell à Dell Printers à Dell 2335dn MFPà Scan Manager

Select Dell 2335dn MFP (IP: X.X.X.X) and Click Properties
Change the following settings:
- File Format: PDF
- Computer ID: User Name of Primary User
  - Click on Settings
  - Type Network User ID
  - Click OK
- Save Location: Z:\My Documents\Scans\ (you may have to create the folder in the My Documents directory
  - Click on the Folder
  - Click on the Folder again
  - Navigate to Z:\My Documents\Scans
  - Click OK, then OK again
- Resolution: 300 dpi
- Scan Color: Mono
- Scan Size: Letter
- Click Apply , then OK
- Close Scan Manager

o On your PC click Start-> All Programsà Dellà Dell Printersà Dell 2335dn MFPà Scan Manager

o Highlight Dell 2335dn MFP and click Properties

o Click on the Change Port tab

o Select Auto Detection on Network and click the Search button

o Highlight X.X.X.X and click Apply then OK.

o Close Dell Scan Manager
