Dell Inspiron Laptop 9400

I have a dell inspiron laptop 9400 and I don't know how to factory reset it and I don't know how to connect it to my wifi

Turn off the Computer, and turn it on. While the computer is in the process of powering on, tap F8, you will see the advance options, select the option ''repair your computer'' click on next when the message ''restore your computer comes up''.
