Where Is The Mic On The Inspiron N50/50 Laptop

Hi Anonymous-109609,

The microphone is located at the front of the chassis, below the touchpad buttons as shown in the picture below.

Greetings - The mic should be a small opening on the from edge of the laptop or somewhere around the hinges of the laptop. To check if the Mic is not muted you can right click the Volume control Icon (bottom right) from the Task Bar. Check under Microphone and unmute it if muted. You will needed a recording program to try - like the Windows Voice Recorder under Accessories.
