Where Is The Serial Number On A Dell Inspiron N5050 Laptop

If you are referring to the system service tag and express service code you can turn your computer over and it will be displayed on a sticker. You may also remove the battery to see if it may be there as well. Another way to find the system service tag is to start the computer and TAP the F2 screen to enter the system bios. Once in the bios you will see the service tag and express service code on the screen.

Dell does not use serial numbers for system identification. Each part in the system could have a a serial number but would have a part number that Dell would use to identify each part.
