How Do I Get My Keyboard To Light Up?
I looked in the information I received with my Dell Vostro 3550 and no where in it did it tell me how to get my keys to light up. I was just wondering if it was possible on this model and if so how I can get the keys to light up.

It does say it has a backlit keyboard. In the manual I can see below your question it says something about a keyboard LED button, one you can push to enable and disable it. It may be a function button so you may have to push FN and then the button. I would look for that, but it should also be listed in your manual like that.

The backlit keyboard is optional.
Go to http://support.dell.com/support/DPP/Index.aspx?c=us&cs=04&l=en&s=bsd, enter your service tag and see how the system was ordered.
If the backlit keyboard was included it should just work. My Dell laptop has this and there was nothing extra to do, it just works.
