Xps 8500 Will Not Detect Second Monitor

I can only offer tips on troubleshooting this issue as u dont knw the source of the problem yet. Which is the first thing u should do. Try to check the cable u plugged in (i.e. HDMI, VGA) is correctly plugged in. If it is, check if u can plug another 2nd monitor, if tht is not detected it may just be a faulty cable or even faulty video card or video card drivers.

I had a problem with HDMI audio once and it turned out to be the CPU's int. graphics drivers. (u'd be surprised wht the problem ulimately is)
