Master Control Knob
The Master Control knob stopped working. Now I have to change the volume using the remote control. Please help.

It could be a solder joint has failed or the IC could be faulty. I suggest if you are comfortable opening up the unit you should try resetting the sound circuit as shown on page 8 of the service manual. If not, you will need to take it to a local repair shop.
