Engine Won't Turn Over
i went to used my dxpw 4240 today and i could not turn the engine over , like the engine sieze up..all the fluids were to specs ..i loose the pump ,still not turn over,, then i removed the recoil and used a screwdriver to turn the engine and turn over without any problem ..i check the recoil rope and springs.check ok ..i have no idea where the manual go but i need this manual ASAP.. i need it fix ASAP AND WITHOUT THE MANUAL IS LIKE NO MANS LANDS ..PLEASE HELP WITH THAT...THANK YOU

if the engine wont turn with the pull starter on the engine but it WILL turn with the pull starter removed the the pull starter assembly may be binding and need repair. the users manual for the machine will NOT tell you how to dismantle and repair the pull starter. you will need a parts manual or a repair manual, not domething that is easy to acquire. To test fire the engine with the pull starter removed sometimes you can tie a rope around the engine where the pull starter was removed from and making sure you wrap the cord to turn the engine in the same direction that it normally would be turned, spray starting fluid into the air breather/filter intake and then pull the cord you wrapped around the pull starter hub area. it may take 2 or 3 tries.
