Loose Bat Connection, Arced Replaced Cable Ends Now Will Only Go In Reverse....

1999 36 V Ezgo ... Dead Pedal .... Hit And Miss... Then Found Loose Bat Connection. Corrosion To Battery Posts And Nuts And The Hold Down Bolts. Tightened The Post Connection Then Went Dead. I Have Cleaned The Posts And Cables I Have Power Now But Only In Reverse No Forward. Wondering If I Have A Bad Forward And Reverse Switch. Thanks For The Help. Am Concerned About The Severe Corrosion Damage To The Metal Parts In Close Proximity To The Batteries...
