Is An Expired Passport Still Ok For Id On Uk Domestic Flights?
My flight from Glasgow-Stanstead is on 20th September, and I booked this after reading on the easyJet site that as long as it's within 2 years of it expiring - which it is - then it's OK to use for photographic ID on domestic flights. Looking at their info now though, it only says a valid passport is required....no mention of an expired one being OK. I have emailed but so far not had a reply, so phoned today, and after waiting ages to get through, was told it was OK within 5 years of it expiring. I'm dubious though with all this conflicting information! There's not enough time left now to apply for & receive a new passport....and I don't have any other form of photo ID. Does anyone out there know their current policy on this please?
