Correcting An Error With My Stocks

Please have someone call me.  Janice Beach I called my broker to not sell my stock on 9/5/2012 and buy his stock. I  was told I could not cancel, and if I did my money would go into my cash account. When I received my transfer papers, the transactions did not happen until the 6th. He said it was a missunderstanding in the communication. I did call him late evening, since I was in a panic. My Rockwell stock came from my dad, and I did not want to sell it. I have had it for years, but he was a good salesman and kept after me. He did feel badly. He said he contacted his manager, and there was nothing he could do. For months I was in such depression, I could not function. I called again, and my husband went in to talk with him. I was still too upset.  He just showed my husband how the stock he sold me was better. I believe he had no other choice with out your help. As you can see I am still upset. After talking to a lawyer ( I do not plan to sue or anything like that), he said any reputable company would have corrected the sell, and would have gotten me my stock back plus all the fees..  He recommended I contact the higher ups, since Joel's "boss" would not handle the problem. I am not really upset with my broker but with the company ignoring the error that was mad and his request for advice. I still believe I should get all my shares back  and have this made right. I am sure your company can do this, since it has all these high ratings for being ethical. I do not know if I should send my account. Please get me back the stock I inherited from my dad. He worked many years at Rockwell, and they werte so good to us after he died. My mom got his full salary for a year. That is an honorable company. Thank You, Janice Beach   Ii live in El Cajon, CA.  My broker is Joel Rohn. Again he did try to correct this)
