Ew30cc55gs2 Cooktop/electrolux What Part Do I Really Need

model ew30cc55gs2 error message 95=voltage etcfound terminal block post shorted out -allowing voltage surge ? advised to change induction generator---my question --when the terminal shorted if it sent a spike or whatever --would the next path go thru the filter or into the induction generator= if the filter is supposed to stop the damage and in turn shorting out = I would assume I need a filter If it goes thru the generator causing it to be damaged--what are the chances the filter is bad also===don't want to chase parts until I finally find the right onewhat is your advice

Hello jwensing - To be honest, I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately since it will need to be properly diagnose.  I suggest this just in case the unit has a limited warranty and if you continue it will be voided.
