Lasting Power

I used Energizer Max in my insulin pump. Recently the batteries have only lasted 3-4 days. They used to last 2-3 weeks. When in the hospital, my battery died in 1 1/2 days They gave me a Energizer "pro" and it lasted 3 weeks. Why?
