You can dispute information on your Equifax credit report by visiting www.equifax.com. ; If you scroll to the bottom of the home page, you will find a link for "Dispute info on credit report", click on this link. Once you have clicked on this link you will be walked through the process of starting a dispute. Once your dispute has been started, you can return to this page at any time to check on the status of your dispute.
If you continue having problems with Equifax directly, even after trying this method, you may want to reach out to a local credit repair company. A word of advice, make sure you check for reviews on companies before paying for anything. Many of these companies will just do exactly what I described for your to do yourself, for free.
Good luck and I hope this helps!
