When you need something extra or special from a hotel/motel, you would do better to contact that establishment directly. Going through a third party such as Expedia, even if the room was booked through them, is not a guarantee that there won't be a mixup. Even going through the national phone line, the 800 number, is not going to ensure that you get what you need.
You already have a confirmation number and the dates, plus the hotel address and phone number. Simply call the hotel and explain that you need a rollaway bed and determine the cost based upon your existing rates.
If there is an email for the hotel, you can always send an email. At least that way you will also have a written confirmation of the dates and the price for the added bed.
