Trip Interruption

If you bought trip insurance (Cancun, Mexico) and you are caught in the tropical Storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico and hitting the Yucatan Peninsula, and you want to leave because of dangerous weather, is it a considered reason for trip interruption?
