Deleting Account

I am new to face book (5 minutes) and cant see important info due to all being written in Chinese. Can't find how to change this and based on the fact that I went to another facebook site that is now showing on my page I WANT OUT. How do I delete my account when I cant read the tabs to know if I am going to the right area. Also w/in the 5 minutes that I have been on I received and email saying something about a compromised account or computer. Again, I WANT OUT! PLEASE HELP! Thank you, Lisa Lambert

If you look at the bottom of the page, there's a row of links on the right. To the left of them, there should be a single link which is the language selection.
