In order to change your profile information, including your romantic interests, a person would need your password. If you are still able to access your account with your current password, you will want to log on immediately and change your password to something secure that no one else will be able to figure out.

Then go to your profile page and update your information to accurately reflect your preferences. If you find that your password has been changed without your permission, visit the Facebook Help Center website and follow directions to recover your account. Good luck.
