Username Vs. Real Name

Is it possible to register on facebook with a user name instead of my real name, so when someone is searching using my real name will not be able to find me on facebook. Of course, I don't mind entering my real name when registering with facebook, but I just do not want my real name to be searchable by anyone who sees fit typing my name on google. Your answer will be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Michael.
