Comments And Likes To Photos

I have noticed that when I comment on a photo or simply 'like' a photo, that activity will be displayed on all my friends newsfeeds. It even shows up on a friends newsfeed that isn't friends with the person who posted the photo. Is there a way to prevent this?

because they are your friends in facebook .. so if you like or comment to a photo that they're not friend it will appear to the news feed of your friends...and most of all that is not a private photo so that comment or like thing in that photo will be appeared in news feed
