Account Temporarily Unavailable

I experienced this problem about 3 weeks ago, and then again today. I'd been on Facebook intermitently all day. I clicked on an Natural Resoruce Defense Council post about the Artic National Wildlife Refuge and when I tried to return to my Facebook Home Page I received this page titled Account Temporarily Unavailable and the message "Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes" I've been trying 3 or 4 times an hour for the past 3 hours (currently 6pm CST). I called a family member who lives 9 miles away and they have no problem getting onto their account. What seems to be the problem with my account?
