No Cell Phone Service

Every time I see a capcha I panic...what if I get it wrong? I live where there is no cell phone service, and have had numerous problems with facebook. I have to travel to town to get a cell signal, in order to get code to continue to log in. By the time I get home with the code...it has expired. I need to be able to use a land line to register my account. I am afraid to try to change anything...they may want to send another code.

You don't need any cell phone service to use Facebook. To change your information, click the down-arrow icon at the top right of any Facebook page to pull down the account menu, and then go to Account Settings.
