Greetings - Try logging in from a different computer or browser (like Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc) and observe - if your chat works on a different browser, then it may be that you need to clear cookies from your regular browser.

If it, however, still does not work right - you can try to let facebook know of it - to do this you will have to scroll to the bottom of the facebook page and look for "Report a Problem" among the footers. Click it when found and fill out the form that appears as best as you can, describing your issue and hit "Submit" when done. This should have facebook arranging a fix to it ASAP
