Continuous Database Down Error When Trying To Reset My Password

Facebook won't let me in to my account with my current password. After I try and reset it (via accessing my email account that connects to it) I get the page where facebook asks me to imput a new password and then type it again to confirm. But after I do that and hit the next/continue button it brings me back to the same page with the "Database down, a temporary error has occured please try again" and if I try again it tells me I have an invalid link, but I've followed all the instructions to not have an invalid link and this has been going on for over 3 days now. I can't find anyone else online who has been having this problem and my friends tell me my facebook account is still active (but obviously not being used). What should I do? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!

Facebook is making an improvement to the database that your account is stored on. During this time, you will not be able to gain access to your account. In most instances, this maintenance will last only a few hours.

(Facebook doesn't do site maintenance on all accounts at the same time, so it's possible that some of your friends will have full access even though you don't.)

If your maintenance lasts longer than 24 hours, you may wish to follow these instructions to clear your browser's cache and cookies. If that doesn't work, try submitting this Facebook form.
