Credit Card Scam

How do I remove the credit card scam from my facebook page? It even prevents me from changing my password because it's in the way.

Simply changing the browser will not rid the problem. I recommend getting an antivirus software to solve the issue. Anything except Mcafee is recommended. You might also want to look through this page for assistance:

You will need to delete your cookies caches and history on your browser, if it still continues, try upgrading your browser to something like Google Chrome, if you have Chrome already re-download it, and uninstall the previous one first before re-installation
