Facebook Asking Me To Change My Password ???

When I try to log in to my Facebook acct, this message popped up: "Your account was recently accessed by a location we were not familiar with. Next it asks me to type in the "Security" words on the screen, next it asked me to identify the people in pictures that were mine, Then next it showed locations & times of recent log ins to my Facebook acct and asked it it was me. None were ! Then it told me I needed to create a new password.. This seems "fishy" to me ! It does "look" like Facebook, but I feel like it is someone trying to get my PW ! How do I solve this problem & access my FB acct ?? Every time I "x-out" and re-enter my existing PW, it starts over the whole "Security" process again & tells me I need to create a new PW.  Is this Facebook or a scam ?  And what do I do now?  I would appreciate any help !
