I Haven't Been Able To Log Into Facebook For Over A Week.

This started with the chat not working properly. It would open but close within a minute. THis occured everytime I changed pages. At no time would it stay open long enough for me to even click on a friend and type a message. Trying to clear this, I reset my internet options. Now I can't even log into Facebook. I've tried the reset password, but I don't get an email with the "code" that I need to proceed. I've tried using the link from the Help Center for cases where "I've reset my password but didn't get an email back". The only time I received a response from this link was the very first time. It asked me to confirm the email so they knew it was me asking for the reset but I haven't heard anything back from them since. Any subsequent attempts to use this link have resulted in NO email message being sent. I've cleared my cookies and cache. I am at a loss and Facebook isn't replying. Any suggestions would be appreciated. ALSO - last night I went to the blog.facebook.com and.....how I don't know but..... MY chat opened up and stayed open. How is that possible when I can't log in? How does it know who MY friends are if I'm not logged in?
