Why Has The Right Hand Side Of My Page Gone Away Again?

I can only see half of what is on the right hand side such as friends to add etc.. This happened before, mostly to people who did not use the site every day. Not fair as I'm not on the computer every day and when I want to do something on Facebook, I should have the chance to do what everyone else does!!!
