You cannot control your son's account unless your son is not yet 13 years old. If your son is under 13, use the form at https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/209046679279097, and Facebook will do the job. The form to which Princessapple referred you will not work unless you have logged in as your son.

Ok so; it is famously difficult to delete a Facebook account and most people deactivate. If you deactivate the account is still there and can ce reactivating in the future.

The account can be permanantly deleted by clicking on this link http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account

at which point nothing will remain. you should note that it's 14 days before this is completely done
