Help--account Has Been Hacked Iand I Cannot Get Into My Account To Freeze It.

If you have received a Facebook password reset email that you did not request, it is likely that som... This often happens if you have a popular username or email address. As long as you do not click the link contained in the email, no action will be taken, and your account will remain secure.

2. Remember to check the inbox of all email addresses and mobile numbers to which you may have sent the password reset email. When you request a password reset, you will see a list of any email addresses and mobile numbers confirmed on your account. Note that for security reasons, parts of the email addresses and phone numbers will be hidden (e.g., [email protected], xxxxxxx5555).
3. If you’re unable to find the password reset email, try to reset your password again by clicking here.
4. After requesting a password reset a second time, if you still do not receive the email, wait 24 hours and try again. We may be experiencing temporary site issues that are affecting password reset emails.
5. If you’re still not receiving the password reset email after the trying the four steps above, contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to make sure they’re not blocking email traffic coming from Facebook.

Tip: For security reasons, we limit the number of password resets that can be requested for an account in a short period of time. If you request to reset your password too many times too quickly, you may be blocked from requesting more for a short period of time. If this happens, wait 24 hours and try again.
