I Can't Sign In To My Account.

Two days ago when I tried to log in to facebook, A message popped up that said I had to verify my account. A page appereared that said to copy the words in a little box. I entered the words and then received a message to add a phone number to verify my account. The problem was I have a different phone number now than the phone number that was originally used when I created my account. I couldn't remember if I changed my number to a cell phone number I had until reccently, or if I had changed my number to my current home phone number or not. I tried to use my old cell phone number and received a message that said invalid phone number, so I clicked cancel and entered my current home phone number and a message popped up that said I had entered too many codes in a short time span and to try later. I tried a few hours later and received the same message about too many codes. I have attempted to sign in every few hours ever since, always receiving that message about too many codes. PLEASE HELP ME SIGN IN TO MY ACCOUNT.
