On the face of the fridge door, on the old hinge side, you will see a small plastic plug. Gently pry the plug out, and set it aside. In about the same location on the handle you will see either a name plate (brand of fridge) or another plastic plug or plate. Gently pry this plug out (using small flat screwdriver), and remove the screw under it. On the top of the fridge door, remove the two Phillip screws that hold the handle on. Remove the handle and replace the screws. Set the handle aside, and remove the large plastic plug that was next to the handle, and replace on the opposite side. Remove the two screws in the same location of the old hinge side, and remount the handle, and plastic plugs.

To expand the sides of your Frigidaire FAX054P7A, there might be a couple of different methods you can try:

1. Adjust the sliding panels: Most portable air conditioners come with sliding panels on either side. These panels can typically be extended or retracted to fit the width of your window. Look for screws or lock mechanisms on the panels that can be adjusted to make them wider. You may need a screwdriver or Allen wrench to loosen or tighten these screws.

2. Use a window installation kit: If the sliding panels are not wide enough to cover the entire window, you can consider using a window installation kit. These kits often include foam panels that can be cut and adjusted to fit your window's width. You can find these kits at most home improvement stores.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.
