Hi todrdav,

I understand you are concerned with the length of time your Frigidaire dishwasher is running. For this particular model, FDB520RHS, the cycles all take 65 minutes or more except the rinse only cycle which takes approximately 18 minutes. A list of the cycles and the times are below.

Pots & Pans - approx. 104 minutes

Normal wash - approx. 89 minutes

Eco wash - approx.74 minutes

Upper rack – approx. 65 minutes

Rinse Only – approx. 18 minutes

The cycle times listed are approximate and will vary with the options selected. Hot water is necessary to activate dishwasher detergent and melt fatty food soils. An automatic sensor will check the incoming water temperature and, if it is not hot enough, the timer will be delayed for automatic water heating in the main wash of all cycles. This happens even when HI-TEMP WASH option has not been selected. When HI-TEMP WASH is selected, an even higher temperature will be guaranteed to handle heavier soil loads. Also, make sure that the delay start option has not been selected. If you find that these tips are not helpful in resolving your concerns I would suggest contacting a local authorized technician to diagnose and properly repair your dishwasher.

Thanks,
