Smell Of Burning/melting Plastic?

Hello - our refridgerator has started smelling like burning/melting plastic. What are likely causes? Is there anything I can do to resolve? Thanks!

Hi jegert,

I see that you are getting a smell of burning/melting plastic in your refrigerator. I would check around the lights inside the appliance and see if there is any plastic that might have melted due to the lights. If that is not the case you may need a certified tech to come out and pinpoint what exactly is causing the burning/melting plastic smell. Alternatively, you can go onto the manufacturer website to locate a servicer in your area.
