Good Morning Sales81246, thank you for your post!

Based on the symptoms you are describing, let’s try resetting your microwave by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your microwave. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, then once the tech has ruled out a number of possibilities such as a faulty door switch, a potential wiring failure or a communication error with the control board, then he or she can pinpoint the exact problem and the necessary part to fix the issue to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Hello Sales81246, thank you for your post!

From what you have described, it seems like your Frigidaire microwave (FFMV162LSA) possibly has a faulty door switch or control board. In this regard, I would suggest contacting an experienced technician that will be able to assist you in the repairs of your appliance!
