Why Does My Frigidaire Gallery Series Dryer Not Heat

Good Morning azaofam, thank you for your post!

I understand your dryer does not heat. Here are some simple troubleshooting tips to help resolve this issue:

1. Clean the filter with hot soapy water to remove any Fabric Detergent or Softeners films that could decrease airflow.

2. Verify the ducting in your home has been cleaned recently and has no debris or build up.

3. Do not overload the drum which can decrease air flow.

4. Turn the breaker to the unit off for 5-6 minutes. Turn your dryer power back on and try a cycle again.

If this does not prove to be successful here are a few possible causes that a technician would be required to check: Defective control board, defective power Supply (240v), defective heating element, high limit thermostat or defective sensor.

I am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.
