Bad Smell Inside.
smells as if something dead in it. i got the air filter out,it dosent smell bad.took everthing out and cleaned inside. and that filter light on the door will not stay on. the drip pan underneth is dry,is that normal. maybe drain tube is pluged. jack

I understand that you have a bad smell in your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# PHS69EJSS. I also see that you have cleaned the inside of your refrigerator, as well as checked the filter, and it did not smell. The filter will not necessarily smell. The filter is designed to neutralize any smells that are inside your refrigerator. It is recommended that you change the filter every 6-8 months. If you have not changed the filter, I suggest changing it. It is normal for the drip pan underneath to be dry. The evaporator fan underneath you r appliance is designed to help keep the drip pan dry. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully.
