2004 Envoy Xuv Tailgate Quit Working

If you can get the tail gate open, you will find that there are 3 electronic latches on the tailgate. You can usually hear them activate when you push the activation switch. If you hear no noise at alindicate usually indicates a switch failure. IMF you do hear noise. But the tailgate will not operate, this indicates thar the electronic latches have failed.
