i purchased a used game and was unable to exchange it on the 7 day due to the large volume of people in the store and they closed on me. the game actually stopped working on the 7 day. What do i do?

GameStop will exchange your opened game purchased within the previous 30 days at a GameStop store, if you have the receipt. Just go back to the store. The complete applicable policy is laid out at http://www.gamestop.com/gs/help/StoreReturnPolicy0623.pdf.

GAME operates a 30 day returns policy online

Any product (excluding gift vouchers/gift cards/digital downloads*) may be returned for refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date, providing that the seal remains unbroken.
R26; Faulty software, where the seal has been broken may be returned up to 3 months after the despatch date or 12 months if preowned.
R26; Faulty hardware and accessories may be returned up to 12 months after the despatch date.
R26; Hardware or accessories may be opened for the purpose of inspection (but not used) and may be returned for refund or exchange within 30 days of the despatch date. Please note that hardware must contain every component part (cables, memory sticks etc.) before it can be accepted as a return.
