What's Wrong With My Brand New Zumo 350lm?

It spends much of the time 'recalculating'. It spent the entire 60 mile trip yesterday 'recalculating' fortunately I knew where I was going it did not. If I deviate from the route it stops doing anything and can't lead me back to the route or calculate a new route by itself. Even leading me 'home' it gets confused estimated arrival times are all over the place, purple track comes and goes etc.
