Power Off Unexpectedly

Why does my NV78 suddenly power off for no reason? I have tried using it on battery only, ac power, and removed the battery completely. Nothing seems to help. The lights go out and the screen turns black. I have tried rebooting in safe mode and normal mode only to have it shut down again. I can only use it for about an hour at a time. The computer has been completely wiped at a certified repair shop and sent back with the same results.

There are several possible problems why your computer suddenly shuts itself off and displays a black screen. Some of the problems are related to the following:

1. Overheating of the CPU

2. CPU fan failed to function

3. Video card problem

4. Corruption fo the boot sector files
