Oven Operates Briefly While Opening Door To Remove Contents.

When I pull the door open on my microwave oven, it begins to run. I am able to reproduce the problem by pulling slighty on the door handle - the oven will begin to run and will keep running until I open the door greater than half inch. Is this normal? Oven is less than 1 year old.
