Buzzing Grinding Noise

getting a buzzing or grinding noise, about 60 hertz, from the control board area when I plug in the unit and set the clock it starts. I am able to shut it off when I hit 'Oven/bake', 'set' (center knob) and 'cancel'. It will then stay off for about 10 min., then restart. It may be a defective relay?
