My Gmail Will Not Sync.
My Gmail account says it is not updated even though I put in the new phone number and recovery email address and changed my password. In my Gmail sync settings there are many more characters in my password than there should be. I've tried to put the correct password in but it reverts back to the numerous characters. Help.

Try the following:
Double check that your Google Account is sync'd.
Menu > system settings > accounts > Google
Also, check the Gmail App settings and make sure the "days of mail sync" is set to a desired number of days.
Remove the Google account and then add it back. Settings, Accounts, Google, Long press on your google email address, Remove Account.
