Hacked Account

My google account has been hacked today, as well as sending emails, texts and messages to all my contacts, they also changed my password (i have managed to change it back) but also wiped all my inboxes. 1. does this mean they have obtained access to all my emails as there is some sensitive information there 2. is there anyway i can restore all the lost emails?

Sorry, I know how frustrating a compromised account can be. However, Google provides a form you can submit online to them if your Gmail account has been hacked.

Please Note: Anytime an account has been compromised is a cause for concern that your personal information was exposed to the hacker, including any bank cards you may have stored in your account. Therefore, it is highly recommended you contact your bank (or financial institution) for how this should best be handled

If your account has been hacked/compromised/stolen and you have been able to regain access to it, there are several steps you should take to make sure it's secure again. Check each of the following account settings and make sure they are correct.
