Wii

I have guitar hero for the wii.  I accidently purhased Band Hero for the wii.  I have not opeded it yet.  I was wondering if if was compatible.  Will I be able to use 4 guitars unstead of a guitar, drums, and micophone?

From what I read, the instruments should be interchangeable regardless of which game you play it on.
