Do You Need To Oil A 12' Disk Sander From Harbor Freight Central Machine Model

Yes, you do need to oil a 12" disc sander from Harbor Freight Central Machine Model 43468. The sander's manual recommends that you lubricate the following components every 3 months or 50 hours of operation:
The bearings on the motor shaft
The bearings on the sanding disc spindle
The bearings on the tilt table pivot point
You can use a light machine oil or a 30-weight non-detergent motor oil. To lubricate the bearings, simply apply a few drops of oil to the bearing races and then rotate the bearing to distribute the oil evenly.
In addition to lubricating the bearings, you should also clean the sander regularly. This will help to prevent dust and debris from building up and causing damage to the sander. To clean the sander, simply wipe down the surfaces with a damp cloth. You can also use a compressed air hose to blow out any dust or debris from the sander.
