Hasbro Iron Man Nerf Machine Gun Warranty.

My name is Michael Pope and I reside at 2212 Williamsburg Arlington Heights Illinois 60004. My phone number is 847-255-5622 I am writing this question as it pertain to a request for warranty issue regarding your Iron man Nurf machine gun. A couple of years ago my grand son was given a Nurf Iron Man Machine gun as a present. At that time we felt that he was a bit young so he wasn't allowed to use the item until he was a bit older. Recently, we opened the box only to find out that the item was defective. The problem is this, when you pump the gun, you can feel the pressure building but when you pull the trigger, the air releases inside the gun and the darts will not project. It appears that air is releasing inside the gun and not the chamber that projects the darts. As I said earlier, this was a gift and we have no receipt so we have no recourse with a retailer. Since the gun was just taken out of the box and not functioning as intended, I was hoping that Hasbro would warranty the item. Regards Mike Pope
