Cc1500 Psi
We got our first pool this year. We have a 12000 gallon pool and our Hayward CC1500 was running at 19 PSI all year. Now recently, say the last month it is running at 15 and I have been using alot more chemical in my chlorinator. Chlorinator was running at 1/4, now almost full so not sure if the two intertwind. I cleaned the skimmer basket, the strainer basket, and all looks good. I have noticed little pebbles ALWAYS on my solar cover from birds possibly and did get a few out of the strainer basket. One more thing, I haven't cleaned the cartridge filter as my pool guy said only if it went 5-7 psi over. Well, it hasn't and he said the filter is bigger than I need for the pool size.
So, with the psi from 19 to 15, could it drop due to not cleaning the cartridge? Would it affect the chlorinator? Or, is it normal for fall temps to bring the psi down. Live in PA. Pool is always clean!
