Healthrider Soft Strider A Series For $120.00 - Good Buy????
I have the opportunity to purchase a HealthRider Soft Strider A Series Model #HRTL 17981; Serial #K02145908 For $120.00; Can you tell me how old it is and if this a good deal??

Hello Judypizzawoman,
This Treadmill's Owner's Manual came out in 1999, which makes it an older device with an average selling price of $89. - $130. used. Of course, this also depends on the condition the treadmill is in. (I didn't see any from a reputable location as "New")
The price you were given is good, IF this treadmill is in excellent condition. Unless this is a new treadmill, never used and still in the original packaging, then I suggest you inspect the treadmill for wear and tear.
If from a private party: Some normal wear is expected. However, you should check for any cracks, tears or repairs openly visible and ask about it. Also, make sure the device turns on and runs correctly before you decide on purchasing.
If from a retailer: Inspect same as above, and inquire if the treadmill comes with a warranty (30 - 90 days is standard). The retailer will likely not offer a return policy due to this being sold as a "used" item.
Bottom line: If the treadmill lives up to your standards for the price, then "Yes" this is a good price.
